Mango Banana Smoothie

Today is my first blog post in my new home in Victoria, British Columbia. For me, the word home has always just been a place I sleep every night. I’ve never really had that feeling of home, that place of belonging. Maybe it’s because I enjoy my nomadic lifestyle and exploring too much, that I’m always focused on where I’m going next, not giving that feeling a chance to blossom.

It is all about attitude and priorities, and at this point, I don’t want to be settled and have a home. There’s a big world to see and limited time to see it. And if I had of stayed in one place all this time, I wouldn’t have met all of the awesome people I know now, or had so many life changing experiences. Each time I travel, I get inspired and my mind opens up even more. I am really excited for the future and for what’s happening right now.

I created this smoothie last month when I was trying to use up the last of my frozen mangoes. Usually when I would make banana mango smoothies, I would go a little heavier on the banana, but since I was trying to empty the bag of mangoes, my ratio was a little different. My taste buds were pleased with the results. I tried this with both almond milk and coconut milk and both were amazing.

Ingredients
  1. 1 frozen Banana
  2. 1 cup Mango
  3. 1 ½ cups Almond Milk or Coconut Milk
  4. ¼ Avocado
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If you like a thinner smoothie, add more milk.
