  • tablespoon caraway seeds 
  •  cinnamon sticks 
  • 1.3 pounds cucumber english cut into 1/8"-thick rounds
  • 0.3 cup kosher salt 
  • teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • cup rice vinegar 
  • 0.5 cup sugar

    2. Bring sugar, all remaining ingredients,and 1/2 cup water just to a boil in a smallsaucepan over medium-high heat,stirring until sugar and salt are completelydissolved.
