Ingredients

  • 1.3 lbs ground sausage italian (I use spicy)
  • 28 ounce pasta sauce 
  • 14.5 ounce canned tomatoes diced canned
  • 1.5 cups water 
  •  garlic clove chopped
  • teaspoon seasoning italian
  • 12 ounces ricotta cheese ()
  • cups mozzarella cheese grated
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  •  eggs 
  • tablespoon parsley 
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black
  • ounce lasagne pasta sheets uncooked

  • frying pan
  • oven
  • aluminum foil

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 35
  2. In large pan, brown italian sausage; drain.
  3. Add spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, water, garlic and italian seasoning. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  4. In medium bowl, combine ricotta, 2 cups of the mozzarella, parmesan, eggs, parsley and pepper.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Pour about 1 cup of the sauce on bottom of 9x13 pan.
  7. Arrange 3 uncooked lasagna noodles over sauce; cover with about 1 cup sauce.
  8. Spread 1/2 the cheese filling over sauce.
  9. Repeat layers of lasagna, sauce and cheese filling.
  10. Top with layer of lasagna and remaining sauce; sprinkle with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
  11. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
  12. Remove foil; bake an additional 15 minutes.
  13. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
