Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon double-acting baking powder 
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda 
  • medium banana ripe mashed
  • cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • cup pineapple canned crushed drained well
  • ounces cream cheese softened
  •  eggs 
  • cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 cup pecans chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in bananas.

  4. Transfer to a greased 9-in. x 5-in. loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
  6. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and pineapple.
  7. Serve with bread.
