  • lb ground beef 80% lean (at least )
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • cups water hot
  • box beef pasta skillet meal 
  • 0.5 teaspoon basil dried crushed
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • medium cloves garlic finely chopped
  • oz mushroom stems and pieces drained canned
  • tablespoons wine dry red
  • tablespoons parsley fresh chopped

Directions

  1. In 4-quart Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
  2. Stir in hot water, Sauce
  3. Mix, basil, salt, pepper and garlic.
  4. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  5. Reduce heat. Cover; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in uncooked Pasta, mushrooms and wine. Cover; cook 10 minutes longer. Stir in parsley.
