Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb ground beef 80% lean (at least )
  • 1.5 cups milk 
  • 0.5 cup water hot
  • 0.5 cup beer 
  • box beef pasta skillet meal 
  • oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • slices bacon crumbled cooked
  • 2.8 oz bread canned
  • serving ground pepper chopped

Directions

  1. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until brown; drain.
  2. Stir in milk, hot water, beer, uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box).
  3. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  5. Remove from heat; uncover.
  6. Top with 1/2 cup of the cheese, the bacon and onions.
  7. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese on top. Cover; let stand 5 minutes (sauce will thicken as it stands).
  8. Sprinkle with pepper sauce.
