  • cup baking mix bisquick heart smart®
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats 
  • 0.3 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.3 cup almonds toasted chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.3 teaspoon nutmeg 
  • 0.5 cup butter cold
  • 0.3 cup granulated sugar 
  • tablespoons flour all-purpose
  • cups berries mixed frozen
  • tablespoons juice of lemon

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with shortening or cooking spray.
  2. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, oats, brown sugar, almonds, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Cut in butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until mixture is crumbly and begins to hold together.
  4. In large bowl, mix granulated sugar and flour.
  5. Add berries and lemon juice; toss until coated. Spoon berry mixture into baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over berry mixture.
  7. Bake 50 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is golden.
  8. Serve warm.
