  • tablespoon flour 
  • 0.5 cup almonds sliced
  • 15 ounces blueberries fresh frozen thaw (do not )
  • cup brown sugar packed ()
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • teaspoon lemon zest finely grated
  • cup oats 
  • 10 ounces blueberries 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • cup butter unsalted chilled cut into 1/2-inch cubes (2 sticks)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Butter bottomof 13x9x2-inch metal baking pan.
  2. Whisk flour,oats, sugar, salt, and cinnamon in large bowl.
  3. Add 1 cup butter; rub in with fingertips untilmixture sticks together in small clumps.
  4. Transfer 2 cups to medium bowl; mix inalmonds and reserve for topping.
  5. Press remaining crumb mixture evenlyonto bottom of prepared pan.
  6. Bake crustuntil golden and just firm to touch, about 22minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
  7. Mix all ingredients in mediumbowl.
  8. Spread evenly over crust in pan, thensprinkle reserved topping over.
  9. Bake bars until filling bubbles thickly atedges and topping is golden brown, about 40minutes; cool in pan on rack.
  10. Cut lengthwiseinto 4 strips, then cut each strip into 6pieces, forming 24 bars.
  11. These bars are bestenjoyed on the day they’re baked. If you'dlike to get a head start on the recipe, thecrust and crumb topping can be made twodays ahead. Cover separately and chill.
