  • 0.5 cup apple sauce 
  • 0.3 cup brown sugar packed
  • Tbsp calumet baking powder 
  •  eggs 
  • cup milk fat-free
  • 1.3 cups flour 
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon 
  • 0.3 tsp ground nutmeg 
  • Tbsp oil 
  • cups raisin bran cereal 
  • 0.3 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. Pour milk over cereal in medium bowl; stir.
  3. Let stand 3 min. Meanwhile, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, spices and salt; set aside.
  4. Whisk egg, applesauce and oil in large bowl until blended.
  5. Add cereal mixture to applesauce mixture; mix well.
  6. Add flour mixture; stir just until moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.)
  7. Spoon into 12 prepared muffin pan cups.
  8. Bake 20 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean and tops are golden brown. Cool in pan 3 min.
  9. Remove to wire rack; cool slightly.
