  • 18 oz broccoli frozen
  • cups milk 
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground mustard dry
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • oz processed cheese food cubed
  • 0.5 cup beer 
  • serving popped popcorn

Directions

  1. Cook broccoli as directed on package, using 2-quart saucepan.
  2. In small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of the milk and flour; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Stir into broccoli in saucepan.
  3. Add remaining 2 1/2 cups milk, garlic salt, dry mustard and pepper; mix well. Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly and thickened.
  4. Add cheese; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add beer; cook until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly.
  6. Garnish with popcorn.
