  • cup cornmeal 
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • 1.5 teaspoons double-acting baking powder 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda 
  •  eggs 
  • cup buttermilk

Directions

  2. Place in a 425° oven for 10 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Beat egg and buttermilk; add to dry ingredients just until moistened.
  4. Pour into the hot skillet.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
