  • 1 teaspoon double-acting baking powder 
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar 
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups carrots grated
  • 1  eggs lightly beaten
  • 1.5 cups flour all-purpose sifted
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 1 teaspoon water

Directions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a tube pan or bundt pan.
  2. Cream together butter and brown sugar.
