  • 1.5 cups banana ripe mashed ( 3)
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • tablespoons butter melted
  • large eggs 
  • 0.3 cup yogurt plain fat-free
  • 2.3 cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground allspice 
  • 0.8 teaspoon ground cardamom 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground ginger 
  • 1.5 teaspoons milk 1% low-fat
  • 0.3 cup powdered sugar 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 1.3 teaspoons vanilla extract divided

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 35
  2. Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl; beat with a mixer at medium speed just until blended.
  3. Add sugars; beat at medium just until blended.
  4. Weigh or spoon flour into dry measuring cups.
  5. Combine flour, soda, and salt.
  6. Add flour mixture to banana mixture; beat just until blended.
  7. Combine cardamom and next 3 ingredients. Stir 1 1/2 teaspoons spice mixture and 1 teaspoon vanilla into batter.
  8. Pour into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray.
  9. Bake at 350 for 65 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan on wire rack.
  10. Remove from pan; cool.
  11. Combine remaining spice mixture, remaining vanilla, powdered sugar, and milk.
  12. Drizzle over bread.
