  • Tbsp butter divided softened
  • tsp calumet baking powder 
  • Tbsp cornmeal 
  • cup flour 
  • Tbsp chives fresh chopped
  • cup corn kernels fresh
  • oz take cheddar jack & bacon recipe cheese breadcrumb mix mixed fresh
  • 0.5 cup milk

Directions

  1. Mix flour, cornmeal and baking powder in medium bowl until blended.
  2. Add 1 Tbsp. butter, milk and corn; mix well.
  3. Melt remaining butter in medium skillet on medium heat.
  4. Pour cheese mixture into shallow dish. Drop tablespoonfuls of cornmeal batter, 1 at a time, in cheese mixture, turning to evenly coat.
  5. Add, in batches, to skillet; cook 1 to 2 min. on each side or until firm to the touch.
  6. Sprinkle with chives.
  7. Serve warm.
