Ingredients

  • cup cooking wine dry white
  • tablespoons flour all-purpose
  • pound bread french cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground nutmeg 
  • 0.5 pound gruyère cheese shredded
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.5 pound swiss cheese shredded

Directions

  1. Simmer wine in fondue pot.
  2. Add Swiss cheese, Gruyere cheese, 1/4 pound at a time. Stir after each addition of cheese until melted. Stir in flour. When all the cheese has melted, stir in salt and nutmeg.
  3. Serve with cut-up French bread.
