  • 15  maraschino cherries finely chopped
  • 0.3 cup cooking oats quick
  • pinch salt 
  • 0.3 cup coconut or sweetened finely chopped
  • 0.3 cup walnuts finely chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar and butter with an electric mixer until smooth.
  3. Add flour; beat for 5 seconds.
  4. Add oats; beat for 5 seconds.
  5. Add coconut; beat for 5 seconds.
  6. Add walnuts; beat for 5 seconds.
  7. Add salt; beat for 5 seconds.
  8. Mix cherries into the butter mixture, beating until dough comes together and turns light pink from cherries, about 25 seconds.
  9. Drop spoonfuls of the dough 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets.

  11. Remove from oven.
