Ingredients

  • 10 servings apple butter-peanut sauce 
  • tablespoons butter melted
  • pound skinned and boned chicken breast halves 
  • large eggs beaten
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 cup italian-seasoned breadcrumbs 
  • 0.3 cup milk 
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup sesame seed

Directions

  1. Cut chicken into 1/4" lengthwise strips.
  2. Combine flour, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper in a large zip-top plastic bag.
  3. Add chicken strips, seal bag, and shake to coat.
  4. Combine egg and milk in a shallow dish, stirring well.
  5. Combine breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a shallow dish. Dip chicken strips in egg mixture, and dredge in breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place in a lightly greased 13" x 9" pan; drizzle with butter.
  7. Cover and bake at 425 for 20 minutes; uncover and bake 18 to 20 more minutes or until done.
  8. Serve with Apple Butter-Peanut Sauce, using short wooden skewers.
