  • large chipotle chile dried
  • cup salsa thick
  • 0.5 cup black bean garlic sauce 
  • tablespoons cilantro leaves fresh chopped
  • ounces monterrey jack cheese shredded
  • tablespoons spring onion chopped
  • serving half and half sweet red
  • serving tortilla chips

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Cover chiles with boiling water; let stand 10 minutes.
  2. Drain chiles and remove seeds. Chop chiles
  3. Mix chopped chiles, salsa and bean dip; stir in cilantro. (If making ahead, cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.) Spoon into shallow 1-quart ovenproof serving dish.
  4. Sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Bake about 15 minutes or until mixture is hot and cheese is melted.
  6. Sprinkle with onions.
  7. Garnish with chile half.
  8. Serve with tortilla chips.
