Ingredients

  • tablespoons butter 
  • 1.3 cups cranberries dried divided
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 10.5 oz marshmallows miniature
  • 15 oz bread 
  • 0.3 cup pecans chopped

Directions

  1. Place pecans in a single layer on a shallow pan.
  2. Bake at 350 for 8 to 9 minutes or until toasted, stirring once after 5 minutes.
  3. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  4. Add marshmallows, and cook, stirring constantly, 4 to 5 minutes or until melted and smooth.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in cereal and 1 cup cranberries until well coated.
  7. Press mixture into a 13- x 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  8. Sprinkle with toasted pecans and cinnamon. Chop remaining 1/4 cup cranberries, and sprinkle on top.
  9. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes or until firm.
  10. Cut into 24 bars.
