  • 14 ounces chicken broth reduced-sodium canned
  • tablespoons parsley fresh minced
  • 0.5 cup bell pepper diced green
  • cup rice long grain uncooked
  • cup rice long grain uncooked
  • 0.3 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 0.5 cup peas green frozen thawed
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.5 cup bell pepper diced sweet red
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup water

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the first six ingredients. Bring to a boil. Stir in peppers. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender.
  2. Remove from the heat. Stir in peas. Cover and let stand for about 5 minutes or until heated through and liquid is absorbed. Stir in parsley.
