  • 0.3 cup confectioners' sugar 
  • 1.5 cups flour all-purpose
  • tablespoon golden syrup 
  • teaspoon ground ginger 
  • 0.3 cup sugar white

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan or springform pan.
  2. Cream the 1/2 cup butter and 1/4 cup white sugar until smooth. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and 1 teaspoon ground ginger.
  3. Add the flour mixture to the butter and sugar and stir until combined, forming a stiff dough.
