  • teaspoon double-acting baking powder 
  • 0.3 teaspoon baking soda 
  • cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 12 ounces cranberries fresh chopped
  •  eggs 
  • cups flour all-purpose
  • tablespoons juice of lemon 
  • 0.3 cup milk 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • cup sugar 
  • cup walnut pieces chopped

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Beat in milk and lemon juice.

  3. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets.
  4. Bake at 375° for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
