  • teaspoon double-acting baking powder 
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.3 cup butter softened
  • cup cranberries fresh chopped
  •  eggs 
  • 1.3 cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.5 cup sugar 
  • teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • 0.5 cup walnut pieces chopped

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.

  4. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
  5. Cut into bars.
