  • 12 slices bread crumbs italian
  • 0.3 cup vegetable oil 
  • cup tomatoes chopped
  • tablespoons basil fresh chopped
  • tablespoon olives ripe chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • 12 ounce mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Place bread slices on ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Drizzle 1 teaspoon oil over each bread slice.
  4. Mix tomato, basil, capers, salt and pepper.
  5. Spread half of the tomato mixture over bread slices; top each with cheese slice.
  6. Spread remaining tomato mixture over cheese.
  7. Bake about 8 minutes or until bread is hot and cheese is melted.
  8. Serve hot.
