  • 1.3 cups firmly brown sugar packed
  • 0.3 cup butter melted
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • large eggs 
  • 0.5 cup flour all-purpose
  • 1.3 cups granulated sugar 
  • 0.5 cup milk 
  • 1.3 cups pecans finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 120 oz cut sweet potatoes in syrup drained canned
  • 1.3 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Beat sweet potatoes and next 6 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Spoon potato mixture into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine 1 1/4 cups brown sugar and next 3 ingredients.
  3. Sprinkle evenly over top of sweet potato mixture.
  4. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes.
