Ingredients

  • lb ground beef 80% lean (at least )
  • oz taco seasoning 
  • oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • loaf bread split french
  • tablespoons butter melted
  • serving guacamole shredded sour red

Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • oven
  • aluminum foil

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with foil.
  2. Cook beef and taco seasoning mix as instructed on package. Stir in half of the cheese. Spoon beef mixture onto bottom half of bread; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  3. Place top half of bread on top, and brush with melted butter.
  4. Bake about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is just crisp on outside.
  5. Cut bread into 4 to 8 pieces.
  6. Serve with Toppings.
