  • ounces fettuccine barilla uncooked
  • 6.5 ounces clams chopped canned
  • tablespoon butter 
  •  garlic clove minced
  • tablespoon parsley fresh minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.5 cup cup heavy whipping cream 
  • 0.3 cup parmesan cheese grated
  •  bacon crumbled cooked

Directions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Meanwhile, drain clams, reserving 1/4 cup juice. In a large saucepan, combine the butter, garlic, parsley, oregano, pepper, clams and reserved juice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the cream and Parmesan cheese; cook 2-3 minutes longer or until heated through.
  3. Add bacon.
  4. Drain fettuccine; stir into sauce.
