  • 0.3 cup crystallized ginger chopped
  • large eggs 
  • teaspoon ground ginger 
  • tablespoons honey 
  • 34 servings strawberry-maple syrup 
  • 1.3 cups pancake-and-waffle mix whole wheat
  • cup milk whole

Directions

  1. Stir together first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl.
  2. Add milk and next 3 ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  3. Let stand 5 minutes.
  4. Cook batter in a preheated, lightly greased waffle iron until crisp and brown.
  5. Serve immediately with Strawberry-Maple Syrup.
  6. Note: We tested with Aunt Jemima Whole Wheat Blend Pancake & Waffle mix.
