  • 0.5 tsp thyme sprigs fresh
  • 90 goat cheese fresh at room temperature
  • servings honey for drizzling
  • slices bread lightly toasted
  • servings sea salt black
  • tsp walnut oil 
  • 0.3 cup walnuts coarsely chopped (1 oz/30 g)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the toasts on a small rimmed baking sheet.
  2. Spread the toast slices evenly with the goat1 cheese, and sprinkle with the walnuts, dividing them evenly.
  3. Drizzle 1/4 tspof the walnut oil over each toast.
  4. Bake until the walnuts are toasted and the cheese is warm, about 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the toasts to plates and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Drizzle each toast with honey, then sprinkle with the thyme leaves and serve.
