Ingredients

  • ounces farfalle pasta uncooked (bow tie pasta)
  • 0.3 cup curd cottage cheese fat-free
  • 1.5 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley fresh chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper black
  • 0.3 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • teaspoons juice of lemon 
  • 0.8 cup peas frozen thawed
  • tablespoons commercial pesto 
  • cup snow peas trimmed per pod)
  • 0.3 cup cup heavy whipping cream fat-free sour
  • tablespoons water hot

Directions

  1. Place the first 7 ingredients (through pepper) in a food processor; process until smooth.
  2. Place snow peas in a colander, and set colander in sink. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat (about 12 minutes).
  3. Drain over snow peas; rinse under cold water, and drain well.
  4. Combine pasta, snow peas, frozen peas, and pesto mixture in a large bowl, and toss to coat.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley.
