  • tablespoons butter 
  • tablespoons flour all-purpose
  • pound cut green beans frozen thawed drained
  • cup milk 
  • cup onion chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.8 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup cup heavy whipping cream sour
  • cups pepperidge farm sage and onion stuffing stuffing prepared
  • tablespoon sugar white

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place green beans in a 9x13 inch glass pan.
  3. Saute onions with butter in a large frying pan over medium heat until translucent.
  4. Add flour and stir to coat flour.
  5. Gradually add milk and bring to a boil.
  6. Add cheese, sour cream, sugar, and salt. Cook till thickened and cheese is melted.
  7. Pour mixture over green beans and top with a layer of stuffing.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
