  • 1.5 teaspoons double-acting baking powder 
  • tablespoons brown sugar dark
  • large eggs 
  • 0.8 cup flour all-purpose
  • 1.3 cups milk 1% low-fat
  • 0.5 cup quick-cooking oats 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoon vegetable oil 
  • 0.3 cup flour whole wheat

Directions

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl; let stand 10 minutes.
  2. Add egg, and beat well.
  3. Lightly spoon flours into dry measuring cups; level with a knife.
  4. Combine flours, baking powder, and salt; stir with a whisk.
  5. Add oat mixture to flour mixture; stir until blended.
  6. Spoon about 1/4 cup batter onto a hot nonstick griddle or nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked.
