  • 10 oz broccoli thawed drained chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne powder 
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheeese shredded
  • cup ham cooked chopped
  •  eggs 
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 1.5 cups milk 
  • 0.5 teaspoon mustard prepared
  • 0.3 cup onion chopped
  • teaspoon lawry's seasoned salt 
  •  tomatoes peeled seeded chopped
  • 14 slices wheat bread white trimmed

Directions

  1. Butter a 13"x9" baking dish.
  2. Layer 7 slices of bread on bottom of dish.
  3. Sprinkle half of cheese over bread slices. Next, layer thawed chopped broccoli, onion, ham and tomato over cheese. Top with remaining cheese and bread slices.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients; beat well.
  5. Pour egg mixture over layered ingredients in baking dish. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
  6. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 40 to 50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
