  • 2.5 teaspoons double-acting baking powder 
  • cup corn flakes/bran flakes 
  • 0.7 cup brown sugar packed
  • tablespoons butter melted
  •  eggs lightly beaten
  • 1.5 cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.3 cup honey 
  • cup milk 
  • cup raisins 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, combine the cereal and milk; let stand for 5 minutes.

  3. Pour into a greased 8-in. x 4-in. loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
