  • 15 ounce garbanzo beans drained canned (chickpeas)
  • 16 ounce bread split french
  • cloves garlic minced
  • teaspoon ground cumin 
  • teaspoon juice of lemon fresh
  • 0.3 cup nonfat cream sour
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt

  • baking sheet
  • oven
  • knife

Directions

  1. Place bread halves on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  3. While bread bakes, position knife blade in food processor bowl; add beans and remaining 5 ingredients. Process 1 minute or until smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides.
  4. Spread bean mixture evenly on cut sides of bread, and slice.
