Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup basil fresh
  • lb lamb loins fresh
  • 0.3 cup parmesan shaved
  • lb rigatoni 
  • 25.5 oz tomato basil sauce organic
  • tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Heat stockpot of salted water to boiling.
  2. Add pasta; cook as directed on package.
  3. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  4. Add sausage; cook about 10 minutes, turning once, until golden brown and no longer pink (160F).
  5. Remove sausage from skillet to plate.
  6. In same skillet, heat pasta sauce to a simmer, scraping bottom of skillet to lift brown pieces leftover from cooking sausage.
  7. Add 1/4 cup pasta water and the drained cooked pasta; toss. Cook 1 minute.
  8. Transfer to large serving platter. Top with sausage, cheese and basil.
