  • servings basil fresh
  • 0.3 cup butter 
  • cup chicken broth 
  • 0.3 cup basil fresh finely chopped
  •  garlic clove pressed
  • 16 oz pasta 
  • 1.3 cups parmesan cheese grated
  • servings pepper freshly ground to taste
  • cups whipping cream

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic, and saut 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Stir in cream, 1/2 cup broth, and basil. Increase heat to high, and bring to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat; add pasta and remaining 1/2 cup broth.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and toss to coat. Stir in pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish, if desired.
