  • large cucumber peeled seeded chopped
  • slices lemon wedges fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon dill dried
  •  garlic clove minced
  • 0.3 cup juice of lemon fresh
  • tablespoon juice of lemon fresh
  • servings lettuce shredded
  • 1.5 pounds top round ( 3/)
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  •  wholewheat pita breads 
  • ounce yogurt plain
  • tablespoon penzey's southwest seasoning 
  • large tomatoes diced

Directions

  1. Place beef between 2 sheets of heavy-duty plastic wrap; flatten to 1/2-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
  2. Combine garlic and next 3 ingredients in a shallow dish or large heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; add beef. Cover or seal, and chill 8 hours.
  3. Remove beef from marinade, discarding marinade.
  4. Stir together yogurt and next 3 ingredients. Set aside.
  5. Grill beef, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (300 to 35
  6. minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes.
  8. Cut into thin slices.
  9. Place beef evenly down center of warm pita rounds. Top with yogurt mixture, lettuce, and tomato; roll up.
  10. Garnish, if desired, and serve immediately.
