  • tablespoons brown sugar 
  •  eggs 
  • servings garlic powder to taste
  • servings ground pepper black to taste
  • 0.5 cup catsup divided
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef lean
  • 0.5 cup milk 
  • large onion chopped
  • servings salt to taste
  • slices bread white cut into cubes
  • tablespoons mustard yellow divided

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix ground beef, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Mix in bread, milk, egg, 2 tablespoons mustard and 1/4 cup ketchup.
  4. Press the meat mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan. In a small bowl, stir together remaining mustard, ketchup and brown sugar; pour on top of the meat loaf.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 2 hours.
