Ingredients

  • small bell pepper green thinly sliced into rings
  • 0.3 cup mayonnaise 
  • 0.3 cup mustard prepared
  • medium onion halved thinly sliced into half rings
  • ounces pastrami thinly sliced
  • 10  pepperoncini peppers trimmed sliced
  • ounces provolone cheese thinly sliced
  • 0.3 cup commercial dressing italian
  • ounces ham smoked thinly sliced
  • ounce submarine rolls split

Directions

  1. Combine Italian dressing, onion, and green pepper in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, until onion is tender. Set aside to cool.
  2. Scoop out bottom half of each roll, leaving a 1/2-inch shell. Discard excess bread.
  3. Spread mustard evenly in bottoms of rolls. Top with pastrami, onion mixture, cheese, pepperoncini peppers, and ham.
  4. Spread mayonnaise evenly on cut sides of top halves of rolls; place on top of the bottom halves of rolls. Wrap each roll in aluminum foil, and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
