  • 18 oz chocolate wafers such as nabisco famous 
  • 0.8 teaspoon peppermint extract 
  • 12 oz bittersweet chocolate divided
  • 0.3 cup whipping cream

  • wire rack
  • double boiler

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring cream to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Add 3/4 cup chocolate chips; stir constantly until melted and smooth. Stir in extract.
  3. Let cool 15 minutes.
