  • 0.7 cup blackstrap molasses dark
  • 0.5 cup soybean oil 
  •  eggs 
  • cup flour all-purpose
  • cup ground flaxseed 
  • 0.5 cup wheat germ 
  • 0.5 teaspoon double-acting baking powder 
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda 
  • cup carrots shredded
  • 0.5 cup golden raisins 
  • cup powdered sugar 
  • teaspoons skim milk fat-free (skim)
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°.
  2. Mix molasses, oil and egg in medium bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake 6 to 9 minutes or just until set.
  4. Let stand 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  5. In small bowl, mix glaze ingredients until smooth. drizzle about 1/2 teaspoon over each cookie.
