  • teaspoon baking soda 
  •  eggs room temperature
  • cups flour all-purpose
  • teaspoon salt 
  • 0.8 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • 0.8 cup vegetable oil 
  • 0.5 cup water 
  • 1.8 cups granulated sugar white

Directions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans or line them with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, salt, cocoa powder, 3/4 cup water, and vegetable oil in a mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
