Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup butter cubed
  • 0.3 cup honey 
  • 0.3 cup brown sugar packed
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • cups cheerios 
  • 1.5 cups rolled oats 
  • cup walnut pieces chopped
  • 0.5 cup cranberries dried
  • 0.5 cup raisins

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the first five ingredients. Cook until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved; stir until smooth.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cereal, oats and nuts.
  3. Drizzle with butter mixture; toss to coat.
  4. Transfer to a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan.
  5. Bake, uncovered, at 275° for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in cranberries and chocolate-covered raisins. Store in an airtight container.
