  • tablespoon grand marnier orange-flavored ( liqueur)
  • large navel oranges 
  • 1.5 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca uncooked
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.7 cup sugar 
  • 0.7 cup coconut or sweetened flaked

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 37
  2. To prepare filling, peel and section oranges over a large bowl, reserving 1/4 cup juice.
  3. Add tapioca and liqueur to reserved 1/4 cup juice; stir until well blended.

  5. Let stand 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Place filling in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish or shallow two-quart baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  7. To prepare topping, lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife.
  8. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl, stirring with a whisk.
  9. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
  10. Add coconut; toss well.
  11. Sprinkle topping evenly over filling.
  12. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or until crisp is golden and bubbly.
