  • cup coconut or flaked

  • cups flour all-purpose
  • cup orange candy chopped
  • cup rolled oats 
  • teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • cup sugar white

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in the oats, coconut and candy orange slices. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheet.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
