Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 42
  2. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife.
  3. Combine flour and next 5 ingredients (flour through egg white); stir until moist.
  4. Melt butter in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet over medium heat.
  5. Pour batter into pan; cook 1 minute (do not stir).
  6. Bake at 425 for 18 minutes or until golden.
  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
  8. Cut into quarters; serve immediately.
