  • 0.8 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 1.5 cups banana ripe mashed
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • tablespoons butter melted
  • 0.3 cup creamy peanut butter 
  • tablespoon creamy peanut butter 
  • tablespoons dry-roasted peanuts chopped
  • large eggs 
  • 0.3 cup yogurt plain fat-free
  • 1.5 cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar 
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground allspice 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.3 cup ground flaxseed 
  • tablespoon milk 1% low-fat
  • 0.3 cup powdered sugar 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 35
  2. To prepare bread, combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; beat with a mixer at medium speed.
  3. Add granulated and brown sugars; beat until blended.
  4. Weigh or lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife.
  5. Combine flour and next 5 ingredients (through allspice) in a small bowl.
  6. Add flour mixture to banana mixture; beat just until blended. Stir in nuts.
  7. Pour batter into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray.
  8. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 5 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from oven; cool 10 minutes in pan on a wire rack.
  10. Remove bread from pan; cool.
  11. To prepare glaze, combine powdered sugar, milk, and 1 tablespoon peanut butter in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk.
  12. Drizzle glaze over bread.
