Clafouti is a traditional baked custard-like dish from the Limousin region in France, typically made with cherries. However, this recipe transforms it into a luscious treat featuring succulent, cubed pears that soften and caramelize while baking, creating a delightful combination of textures and flavors. With a rich custard base comprised of eggs, milk, and sugar, this dessert is both wholesome and delicious, striking a balance between sweet and savory that will leave you wanting more.

At just 224 calories per serving, this light dessert is not only a tasty reward but also consciously crafted for those watching their caloric intake. The addition of nutmeg and vanilla extract elevates the overall flavor profile, making it a comforting yet sophisticated dessert option.
