  • 28 ounce canned tomatoes crushed canned
  • servings pepper red crushed to taste
  • cloves garlic minced
  • 0.7 cup heavy cream 
  • 16 ounce penne pasta dry
  • tablespoons vodka

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  2. Add penne pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  3. In a skillet, saute garlic in a little olive oil.
  4. Pour in tomatoes and cook for about 20 minutes. Stir in the vodka.
  5. Add cream and red pepper flakes. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  6. Serve over the cooked penne.
